It’s been a busy month here at the Neptune Bar Hire Co. Not only have we had a small flurry of bookings for mobile bars for weddings and parties across the summer, but the flowers are in bloom, the temperature is rising and summer is upon us. It feels like a time of new beginnings, which is why we are also excited to announce a new collaboration with the wonderful events venue, Farthingloe Barn.
Neptune and Farthingloe – a match made in party heaven!
In case you are not familiar with Farthingloe Barn, it’s situated in east Kent and is owned and run by Kirsty - a lovely lady who has a very similar ethos to Mat. Everything is about the customer and nothing is too much trouble to organise; you can see why this is a match made in heaven!
Neptune will be providing the in-house bar service for events at the barn and partygoers will therefore have a wide range of drinks to choose from, including premium spirits and quality mixers and a good range of beers and wines (including non-alcoholic) at most reasonable prices. Plus, the Neptune staff are professional and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for Mat and his team.
Why Farthingloe Barn?
Well, we already know that Mat and Kirsty have a common goal, to ensure that each and every customer – and their families and friends – have a positive, great experience at their events. However, Farthingloe is a licensed venue with a difference. Set in 48 acres of private estate in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) nestling between Dover and Folkestone, Farthingloe is a sixteenth century thatched barn, with endless and beautiful opportunities for Instagram-able moments and memories.
The venue has been sympathetically restored and modernised, delivering well-appointed facilities including a fully carpeted, level and well-proportioned dance floor with specialist mood lighting. There is also a secluded rear garden area with space for a marquee, luxury toilet facilities, heating and Wi-Fi. The parking is ample and disabled access is also catered for.
The space can comfortably seat up to 120 people, with tables and chairs, but the real beauty of this venue lies in the flexibility that Kirsty can offer. Whatever theme you want to have, whether you want a pizza party or a full silver service sit down meal, even if you wanted to have a Game of Thrones themed wedding, Kirsty can recommend caterers, florists, party balloon people and other trusted suppliers to help you plan your perfect event. The barn really is a blank canvas, whether you are planning a wedding, christening, birthday or anniversary celebration or even a funeral, the sky really is the limit.
